JAZ's photographs have appeared in Pool & Billiard Magazine, Sandlapper: The Magazine of South Carolina, Charleston City Paper, Coastal Homes Southern Style, Spartanburg Magazine, Charlie Mag, and many other publications.

JAZ was the primary photographer for Precision Pool: 2nd Edition (2008 Human Kinetics) and the on-set photographer for the 2009 feature film Eight Graves.

In 2005, he shared a second place Association of Alternative Newsweeklies award in cover design with Kris Adams, Alfred Hall, and Nancy Santos for his work at Charleston City Paper.
