Wedding photography

A wedding is an occasion custom-made for storytelling. Call it a new beginning or see it as two tales flowing together and transforming one another - either way, it's a day that all in attendance will remember for years to come.

Here are a few answers to questions on my own style of telling the wedding day tale in pictures and here are just a few examples from some of those stories:

Michael and Sarah

A bright, sunny day beachfront at the Isle of Palms: custom made for a wedding. This fun loving couple chose a simple ceremony and reception at the Citadel Beach House, brought the entire wedding party on a wonderful walk along the sand near sunset, and kept the mood merry throughout the day.

Michael and Megan

This beautiful ceremony celebrated both the couple's union and their shared respect for the natural environment. It was held at the I'On Creek Club, overlooking Hobcaw Creek, and featured lots of laughs, camaraderie, and an unexpected guitar solo by one of the Lowcountry's most well respected environmentalists.

Ken and Wendy

An airbrush artist and a journalist, both extraordinarily talented, journey from Chicago to celebrate a destination wedding by the Ashley River near Summerville. The bride and groom chose period dress and a pirate motif for their Cinco de Mayo wedding, capping the evening off by breaking piņatas on the lawn.

Bryan and Emily

From the bridal portraits at Drayton Hall to the ceremony at St. Philip's on Church Street and the Yacht Club finish, it was obvious that this was a couple with impeccable taste and a style all their own. The trolley ride from the church to the reception was an evening highlight.

"We got the pictures in the mail yesterday. All we could say was 'wow' over and over and over again!" - Michael and Sarah Holt

"Your photographs made our wedding look like an event from the Camelot of JFK days. You exceeded all expectations!" - Dan and Angela Barber

"Years from now, your pictures will stimulate wonderful memories. They are some of the best wedding pictures we have ever seen." - Michael and Megan Desrosiers
